About Us

Medicine. Science. Responsibility. Humanity.

The International Center for Integrative and Cellular Medicine (ICICM) is a medical center based in Munich, Germany.

ICICM was created to bring together medical expertise, specialized diagnostic capabilities, advanced medical technologies and individualized patient care within a structured and responsible medical environment.

Our work is guided by a fundamental principle:

Medical decisions should begin with understanding the individual patient.

This principle shapes the way we assess medical information, consider diagnostic and therapeutic options and communicate with our patients.

Why ICICM was created

Medicine is becoming increasingly specialized, while many patients present with complex medical histories, previous treatments and diagnostic information from different disciplines.

ICICM was created as a place where this information can be considered together.

Rather than focusing on one procedure or technology, our approach begins with the patient's individual medical situation.

Medical history, existing findings, previous treatments and, where appropriate, additional diagnostic information are considered before diagnostic or therapeutic options are discussed.

Technology is a tool. Medical judgment remains essential.

A multidisciplinary medical environment

ICICM brings together professionals with experience in therapeutic apheresis, extracorporeal medicine and related medical disciplines.

Depending on the individual medical question, diagnostic information and expertise from different disciplines may contribute to the evaluation.

Where appropriate, external physicians, specialized laboratories and medical partners may also contribute to this process.

Our objective is not to combine as many methods or procedures as possible.

The objective is to determine which information and which medical steps are relevant for the individual patient.

This also means that the availability of a diagnostic or therapeutic procedure does not automatically make it appropriate for a particular patient.

In some cases, medical evaluation may lead to a procedure being considered. In others, additional diagnostics, another medical approach or no intervention may be appropriate.

Science and innovation — with responsibility

Medicine and biomedical science continue to evolve.

New diagnostic methods, medical technologies and biological approaches can provide additional possibilities for medical evaluation and treatment. At the same time, innovation requires careful assessment, appropriate medical judgment and transparency regarding its limitations.

At ICICM, we believe that innovation and responsibility belong together.

Diagnostic methods and therapeutic procedures are considered according to their specific purpose, the available medical information and the individual clinical context.

Where scientific evidence is evolving or an approach remains investigational, this distinction should be communicated transparently.

We do not believe that something should be used simply because it is new or technologically advanced.

Scientific interest does not replace medical responsibility.

Individualized medicine

For ICICM, individualized medicine does not mean performing more tests or combining more treatments.

It means considering which information is medically relevant for the individual patient and which diagnostic or therapeutic steps may reasonably follow from that information.

Every patient brings a different medical history, clinical situation and biological profile.

For this reason, our approach does not begin with a predefined treatment package.

It begins with assessment.

First understand. Then decide.

An international medical center in Munich

ICICM is based in Munich and welcomes patients from Germany and abroad.

International patients often arrive with medical records, diagnostic findings and previous treatment histories from different healthcare systems. These existing medical documents form part of the information considered during medical assessment.

Our international orientation also extends to professional exchange and collaboration with physicians, laboratories, scientists and medical partners from different countries and disciplines.

At the same time, international medicine remains individual medicine.

Regardless of where a patient comes from, the medical questions, available information and possible next steps must be considered individually.

International medicine begins with individual care.

Clear and transparent communication

Medical information can be complex.

We consider it important that patients understand what is being considered, why it is being considered and what the relevant limitations are.

For this reason, we aim to communicate medical reasoning, diagnostic findings and available options as clearly as possible.

No diagnostic procedure automatically determines a treatment, and no therapeutic procedure can guarantee a particular clinical outcome.

Patients should have the information necessary to discuss medical decisions with the medical team and to understand the reasoning behind the proposed next steps.

The people behind ICICM

Medicine is ultimately delivered by people.

Our team brings together medical, scientific, therapeutic and organizational expertise with a shared commitment to careful assessment, responsible decision-making and clear communication.

Each member contributes a different professional perspective while working according to the same fundamental principle:

First understand. Then decide.

About Us

What we want to build

Our ambition is not to become the largest medical center.

Our aim is to build an institution recognized for the quality of its work, its integrity, its medical responsibility and the way it cares for its patients.

We believe that scientific thinking, medical expertise, innovation and humanity should not exist separately.

They should work together.
